RESUMO:

We live in a time of great technological advancement, with bioinformatics playing a central role in the anal- ysis of genomic data and the discovery of genes of biotechnological interest. This progress is driven by the development of new DNA sequencing technologies, as well as the existence of various algorithms applied to genomic data analysis. In this context, despite the existence of an ecosystem of tools and active databases, and the availability of specific public databases with genomic, transcriptomic, and regulatory information, the integration of these data is challenging, requiring knowledge in genomics, tools and databases, as well as programming and statistics. Therefore, the development of computational platforms for data integration, visualization, and availability is essential for the advancement of agronomic research. This project aims to create platforms for the discovery of genes of biotechnological interest, either through the integration of mul- tiomic data for the discovery of gene regulatory networks in plants, or through the prospecting of pesticidal proteins from Bacillus thuringiensis. To achieve these objectives, techniques for genomic, transcriptomic, and regulatory data analysis will be used, as well as the development of computational systems for data inte- gration, visualization, and availability to the scientific community. It is expected that the developed platforms will contribute to the advancement of agronomic research, providing robust tools for use by researchers and professionals in the field of plant biotechnology.
