This research investigates citronella oil-infused resin composites as sustainable solutions for flea and tick prevention, focusing on material properties and functional performance. In the first phase, the influence of UV light on curing was examined, revealing that higher citronella content slowed polymerization and reduced thermal stability, while rheological analysis highlighted non-Newtonian behaviour. In the second phase, 3D-printed citronella-infused dog collars will be evaluated for mechanical strength, insect repellency, and durability under simulated ageing conditions. Expected Results will demonstrate effective repellency, mechanical robustness, and resilience to environmental factors, supporting their potential as eco-friendly alternatives to conventional flea and tick prevention methods.
