RESUMO:
Nanotechnology allows the reduction of macrometric materials to the nanometric scale, preserving their chemical characteristics and increasing their reactivity. The use of nanoparticles in agriculture offers great advantages, among which is the improvement of seed germination, consequently providing resilience to seedlings. However, the conventional synthesis of nanoparticles can cause environmental impacts due to the chemical compounds used in the process. The green synthesis of nanoparticles, in turn, uses natural substances to produce nanoparticles, minimizing the damage caused to the environment. Green synthesis using flower extracts has advantages such as less environmental impact, in addition to being a faster and simpler process to be carried out. In view of this, this work aims to explore the efficiency of the synthesis of silver nanoparticles using Dahlia pinnata flower extract, evaluating their properties and their potential use as seed priming. It is expected that this study will contribute to the development of sustainable techniques for the synthesis of nanoparticles and promote advances in the use of these particles to improve food production.
